The Storyline..

I have came up with several alternative beginnings for the past 4 months roughly but finally I had come up with the ideal Starting that I think would be a rather "satisfying" but I'll never actually know if I may find a much better one but here's an outline of the setting:

The story starts off with a destroyed and semi-apocalyptic city (I wanted to use an actually real city but I thought I ought to challenge myself) showing large-scale explosions,collapsing buildings,large amounts of abandoned cars in the road and people running and screaming and red cloudy skies.The City would basically be in absolute "hell".

Also,there will be missiles firing down on the city like a meteor shower but not exactly showing where they are coming from because I wanted this scene to be a huge disaster that would show mass destruction but the reader won't know what this is leading to,whether it's a flashback or even what's going on.

The scene will look almost like the picture below:
 

For a few days now i've been planning to produce my first ever comic from drawing a few rough character sketches to thinking of a storyline and actually starting it as early as possible.
So,what i am planning to do is to give it all i got as i haven't really done anything like this!
